WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
For tables of fewer than 7 guests, you may cancel at any time.
For tables of 7 or more where a deposit has been taken, cancellations made less than 48 hours before your booking will be issued as a voucher.
IS THERE A TIME LIMIT ON TABLES?
Tables of 1–2 guests: 1.5 hours
Tables of 3 or more guests: 2 hours
CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC TABLE OR AREA?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to guarantee specific tables or areas due to operational requirements.
DO YOU CATER FOR DIETARY REQUIREMENTS OR ALLERGIES?
Yes. We provide an allergen matrix and our team is happy to help with dietary requirements.
DO YOU OFFER VEGETARIAN OR VEGAN OPTIONS?
Yes, vegetarian and vegan dishes are available.
DO YOU OFFER A SET OR TASTING MENU?
We offer our Chef’s Surprise Menu at £31.95 per person, available for a minimum of two guests.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept American Express and all major debit and credit cards, as well as cash.
IS A SERVICE CHARGE APPLIED?
No, there is no service charge added to your bill.
DO YOU OFFER NON-ALCOHOLIC DRINKS?
Yes, we offer a selection of soft drinks and mocktails.
IS YOUR MEAT HALAL?
Yes, all our meat comes from fully certified halal suppliers.
CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE BIRTHDAYS OR SPECIAL OCCASIONS?

Yes. We also offer smaller portions of selected Dabbawal favourites, along with and small plates that are suitable for children.

Yes, children of all ages are always welcome.
DO YOU ALLOW STAG OR HEN PARTIES?
To ensure a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience for all our guests, we’re unable to accommodate stag or hen parties.
DO YOU HAVE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS?
Yes. Both our Jesmond and City Centre restaurants have wheelchair access and a disabled toilet.
DO YOU ALLOW PETS?
Pets are welcome on the Veranda at Jesmond only.
GROUP BOOKINGS
For groups of 10 or more, a £10 per person deposit is required.

Yes, you can order your favourite Dabbawal dishes for takeaway. Simply place your order online or by phone and collect it at your convenience.

Yes, we offer delivery exclusively through our website, so you can enjoy Dabbawal from the comfort of your home.
